Quality Manager - Aramis Project
The Aramis project objective is the development of an open access, non-discriminatory CO₂ transportation infrastructure to provide low-cost access for CO₂ storage operators to transport their CO₂ volumes to offshore storage facilities. As Quality Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring that quality is embedded throughout the project lifecycle and that project deliverables meet the highest standards.

This is a unique opportunity to lead the set-up and implementation of quality management activities for one of the Netherlands' most important CO₂ infrastructure projects. You will work closely with project leadership, contractors, suppliers, and multidisciplinary teams to establish a robust quality framework while promoting a strong quality culture across the organization.

Working hours: 32 to 40 hours per week

Voor deze opdracht staan wij open voor verschillende contractvormen:
✔ Loondienstverband - Inschaling conform de geldende CAO.
✔ ZZP - Op basis van een overeenkomst van opdracht.
Belangrijke voorwaarden voor ZZP-inzet:
- De opdracht wordt uitgevoerd als zelfstandig ondernemer, zonder werkgeversgezag of integratie in de organisatie;
- Er is sprake van een duidelijke opdrachtomschrijving met concrete deliverables;
- De inzet dient te passen binnen de geldende DBA-richtlijnen.
Bij inhuur via een leverancier gelden de afgesproken tarieven en voorwaarden conform de bemiddelingsovereenkomst. Loondienstkandidaten worden ingeschaald volgens de toepasselijke CAO
What will you do?
As Quality Manager, you will be responsible for establishing, implementing, and maintaining the project's quality management system. You will act as the focal point for all quality-related matters and ensure alignment between project requirements, contractor performance, and industry standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Promoting quality within the project and providing expert advice on quality-related matters.
- Assisting the Project Management Team in the organization, implementation, and auditing of quality procedures and processes.
- Defining, developing, implementing, and controlling the project Quality Management System.
- Organizing and coordinating quality surveillance activities for contractors and key subcontractors.
- Planning and leading quality audits, inspections, and site visits in collaboration with Package Managers.
- Reviewing Contractors', Subcontractors', and Suppliers' QA/QC Inspection & Test Plans to ensure consistency and compliance with project requirements.
- Developing and deploying a project-wide Quality Culture Program.
- Managing the Quality/PMT workforce and functionally supervising QA/QC Leads and Engineers across work packages.
- Preparing quality, technical, and contractual requirements for LLI and EPC contractors.
- Evaluating contractor proposals with a focus on quality frameworks and construction risks.
- Ensuring contractors implement effective corrective and preventive action programs when quality deficiencies arise.
- Supporting the development and implementation of the JV Quality Management System.
What do you bring?
- Engineering degree in a relevant discipline.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in similar quality or project-related positions.
- At least 5 years of site-based experience in construction or operations environments.
- Demonstrable experience in brownfield projects operating under SIMOPS with multiple stakeholders.
- Proven experience in setting up and implementing Quality Management Systems and Quality Culture Programs.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written.

About the Aramis Project Team
The role is based in The Hague and is a seconded position within the Aramis Joint Venture. You will work alongside experienced professionals from multiple organizations who are jointly developing critical infrastructure to support carbon capture and storage in the Netherlands. The position is primarily office-based and includes regular business travel.
