We are looking for a versatile professional who wants to combine business analysis skills and operational responsibilities with sometimes some minor development work. Join our team of experienced developers and work on one of the biggest and most complex projects within KPN: the Grip identity platform (https://grip.kpn.com). The organizational unit within KPN
Within KPN TDO, Technology & Digital Office, in the B2B IT Solutions section. We are KPN's IT department for the business market and we work with self-organizing agile teams that test, manage, develop and maintain software for our customers and stakeholders. We have teams in Amsterdam and Rotterdam. At the moment, we are looking for someone who will join our team twice a week in Rotterdam.

What is Grip?
The Grip identity platform is used in a million ways. We serve as the identity foundation for KPN itself, MijnKPN Zakelijk, for our Business Partners, Internet of Things & MyKPN Wholesale. More than 420,000 organizations in the Netherlands use our platform now! Lots of stakeholders means a big roadmap, and that's why we need you.

Your Role
In this unique position, you will:

1. Act as a Business Analyst (80%):
* Spar with the product owner and stakeholders to clarify and prioritize requirements.
* Translate business requirements into concrete epics and user stories for the development team.
* Organize and participate in refinement sessions, daily stand-ups and other scrum events.
* Ensure a clear and structured backlog, and help the team understand the 'why' behind the requests.

2. Pick up OPS work for Grip (20%):
* Take care of operational tasks related to the Grip platform (e.g., monitoring, troubleshooting, CI/CD, deployment, incident analysis, answering our social channels (Teams, Slack) and shared mailbox.
* Collaborate with operations specialists to keep our platform reliable, performant and secure.
* Proactively signal and resolve issues, and help automate operational processes where possible.

3. Guide our off-shore development team (part of BA role):
* Enjoy and be skilled at guiding and coordinating our off-shore team of 3 developers on a daily basis.
* Act as a bridge between the on-shore and off-shore teams to ensure clarity, alignment and productivity.
* Provide technical direction and answer questions.
What are the skills needed?
We're looking for a strong business analysis and also a person who can engage in operational work. A history in development work is required and Dutch native speaking is a big advantage.

Technical skills:
* Javascript/TypeScript/Angular/NodeJS
* Global knowledge about open standards (SAML, OpenID Connect, SCIM etc.)
* Dutch and English in word and writing

Bonus points:
* Basic knowledge of Microsoft Azure, NoSQL/MySQL, Splunk, serverless computing, Jenkins etc.

Soft skills:
* Strong communication skills (in Ducth and English), both verbal and written.
* Able to translate complex requirements into actionable tasks.
* Enjoys collaborating with multiple disciplines and cultures.
* Able to coordinate and motivate a remote team.
* Proactive, structured and eager to continuously improve.
* EU passport or valid work permit for the Netherlands.
